A special thank you to Joyce Sipple for her continual caring support with the State High My Mental Health Matters Student Club’s endeavors to help eliminate the stigma often associated with mental health by creating positive mental health awareness via schoolwide activities where all students feel accepted, appreciated, acknowledged, and cared for in our school. This past February 2021, the club hosted a “Spread the Love Day” at the high school by providing care packages to students and staff. The packages contain an assortment of fun goodies during our pandemic: pink/heart disposable face masks, crisis card hotlines, coloring bookmarks, mental health/lgbtq stickers and Safe 2 Say hand sanitizers, pens, wristlets and popsockets.
